Preparation
On the bed of the river, make sure you establish a flat base in a flowing river.
Position
Position the Alevibox surrounded by stones.
Explanation
Do not hesitate to explain to the local residents
what you are doing.
Control of temperature
Spray water over the eggs to bring them to the river temperature.
Implementation
Place the eggs (here brown trout) with the help of a
funnel.
A dam could be useful downstream if the water level does not reach the Alevibox.
Opening of Avelibox
5 to 6 weeks after installing the Alevibox, it's time to open it. The youngsters will have developed in their place of birth and can re-colonize the creek.
